Each participant must be willing and able to carry your own luggage and equipment at all times, including up stairs, hills, etc. Many parts of Europe have little or no accommodation for 'Handicap Access' as we know it in the U.S.  Elevators are not always available.  Many of the buildings and hotels are centuries old!   PACK LIGHT ! ! !   Seriously, students last Summer have offered to talk with the new students to tell you... "When they say PACK LIGHT, they mean...  PACK LIGHT ! ! ! ! ! "
You need to be able to pick up all your stuff and go!

The only thing you can expect about travel is to expect the unexpected.

This tour includes some potentially challenging physical activity, primarily in the form of walking. We will be walking several miles during our adventures.  We suggest that you plan to be out-and-about by 8am each morning, and keep walking and shooting till 10pm.  Rain or shine, we will be out, walking, photographing buildings, people, cities, and the countryside. These activities are a required portion of the course credit. Students opting to forego certain activities are free to do so. However, course grades and credit could be affected by a lack of participation.

It is highly recommended that you begin a work-out regimen ASAP.  If you are able to walk several miles each day, you will enjoy the European experience much more, and your portfolio will show it!
