Day 1
 June 17
 
Departure From San Diego. Relax and enjoy the multi-meal service on-board our overnight flight to Greece.  Get some sleep. You'll want to begin exploring and shooting immediately.

Day 2
June 18

Arrive in Frankfurt, Germany, and transfer to Athens.

Day 3
June 19

Morning tour of Athens, including the Acropolis.  Free time to explore on your own.

Day 4
June 20

Transfer to Santorini via high-speed catamaran ferry.  Find our rooms... get out the cameras, and start shooting!  "This is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular islands in the world."  Frommer's Travel Books

Day 5
June 21

Morning tour of Santorini.  If you are not familiar with Santorini, it is the #1, most-beloved island in the Greek Isles.  If you've seen classic, Greek photographs of white-wash buildings, these were likely in Santorini.  If you look at a calendar of Greece, they often highlight Santorini.  It is truely the jewel of Greece.

On your own in Santorini.

Day 7
June 23
 
Board our over-night ferry for Venice.  This city is truely amazing!  Created entirely on the water, you will see no cars, no bicycles, no wheels.  Even the FedEx "truck" is a boat.  

Day 8
June 24

Arrive in Venice.  Explore and "get lost".  Since we're on a small island, you can walk all day and be "lost", but never far from a boat that will take us back to our hotel.
 
Day 9
June 25
 
Walking tour of Venice and the famous Basilica di San Marco.  Time to explore on your own.
 
 
Day 10
June 26

Full day to get "lost" in Venice.  Oh, and eat gelato!

Day 11
June 27

Say Ciao! to Venice and board a train, heading across northern Italy, to the Italian Riviera region known as the Cinque Terre.

Day 12
June 28

Cinque Terre means "five lands". There are 5 small villages, nestled on the cliffs of this gorgeous region.  Time to explore on your own.

Day 13
June 29

We will each have a Cinque Terre Pass, allowing us to travel by train or hiking trail to and through each of these unique villages. 

Day 14
June 30
 
I can almost guarantee you will not want to leave the Cinque Terre, but we must.  We'll head to Milan by train, spend the night, and pack for our morning flight home.  Or, will you stay LONGER??
 
  Day 15
July 1

Departure from Milan to San Diego, or make plans to stay longer in Italy... or explore Paris, Amsterdam, Spain, Iceland, etc!

Day 16

You're home!... in your own bed.   Or... you're exploring more of Milano, headed down to Roma, Firenze, or maybe off to St. Petersburg or ???

Day 17 

You're STILL ASLEEP at home... or still exploring Europe, solo & meeting new people, or traveling with other EuroFoto friends, seeing as much as you can, as long as your ATM card keeps working.

July 8 - August 8

 
 
We will meet back on-campus in July for five weeks to develop film, improve your Photoshop skills, print, mat, frame, critique, and reminisce about all the great things we shared on our EuroFoto Adventure!
